April 2024 - Let the body paint commence!

Body paint is one of my favorite artistic flourishes in a photoshoot. I’ve always loved focusing on the human form, and body paint provides that freedom (in a way lingerie or other looks cannot) while creating a wide array of creative possibilities with light. I use a variety of paint styles in my photoshoots, but my favorite is metallic paint. It can be applied in around 30 minutes, it won’t smear or discolor clothing, and it washes off easily.

There is no shortage of boudoir photography, even here in a relatively small midwest city like Tulsa. But for me, fine art opens up a vast array of creative possibilities that more conventional boudoir simply can’t touch. When you add body paint to your photoshoot, you can create all kinds of amazing new looks and effects you might never have thought possible, while still maintaining a focus on body-inclusivity and radical self-acceptance.
